Then in 1983 ....
In Tumkur Town, near Bangalore's glow,
Thirty-one souls met, destined by fate
and Shivakumara Swami Ji's grace
At SIT's gates,
From Tamil Nadu's sands, we came as one,
Strangers at first, our journey begun.
What started fragile, a hesitant start,
Grew into a family, a union of hearts.
Laughter and learning filled the days and nights
In hostel our second home many miles away.
Through trials endured and joys profound,
A bond of steel was tightly bound.
Four fleeting years, yet lifetimes gained,
O Tumkur, where our youth was framed.
Your echoes linger, your memories shine,
A treasure eternal, through the sands of time.
At the Dawn of 2025....
Forty-two years, a journey so vast,
Through trials and triumphs, our bond steadfast.
Each moment a heartbeat, a luminous spark,
Guiding our souls through the day and the dark.
Through stroms we weathered
Through flames we stood,
Hand in hand,
Together we soared,
In laughter and tears, in whispers and song,
Our voices in unison, echoing strong.
The years may pass, like leaves in the breeze,
Yet our bond remains, as deep as the seas.
Forty-two years, yet timeless remains,
A bond enduring through joys and pains.
Unbroken by barriers, untouched by decay,
Forever united in brotherhood's endless sway.
